Launching our timelapse section

Today we're launching panpancoucou's timelapse section with our very first night capture.

This timelapse covers a full night, from March 3, 2026, 8 PM to 6 AM, on a full moon evening. The camera was set to night mode (infrared, black and white), capturing a frame automatically every 10 seconds.

This is a first attempt — image quality is still a work in progress. Further tests are planned, including permanent day mode, to compare results and reduce sensor noise. Timelapse quality depends entirely on the camera hardware (Tapo C310), and we're working to get the best out of it.

You can however spot objects crossing the field of view at high speed, from the top center to the bottom of the frame. These bright dots are most likely aircraft flying the Toulouse–Paris air corridor, visible around ~1:20, ~2:30 and ~4:10 in the video.

More timelapses will follow regularly to document sky activity over the Tarn region of Southern France.
